Is OwedLess really free?
Yes. The free plan lets you track up to 3 debts with Snowball and Avalanche strategies, payoff projections, progress tracking, and credit utilization — no credit card required, no time limit.
What do I get with OwedLess+?
Unlimited debts, all game plan strategies (including Free Up Cash and Custom), the full What-If Lab (extra payments, consolidation, rate changes, missed payment simulator), rate negotiation scripts, calendar payment feed, CSV import/export, up to 5 scenarios, and more.
How does billing work?
OwedLess+ is available as $4.99/month, $24/year (save 60%), or a one-time $49 lifetime purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your Settings page.
How do I cancel?
Go to Settings in the app and click Manage Subscription. You can cancel anytime — your access continues through the end of your billing period. No cancellation fees, no hoops.
What happens if my payment fails?
Stripe will retry the charge automatically. If it continues to fail, your account will revert to the free plan. Your data is never deleted — upgrade again anytime to pick up where you left off.
What is the Lifetime plan?
Pay $49 once and get OwedLess+ forever — no monthly bills, no renewals, all future features included. Only 500 lifetime seats are available. Once they're gone, they're gone.
How does biweekly payoff work?
Most payoff tools assume monthly payments. OwedLess lets you set your actual pay frequency — weekly, every 2 weeks, twice a month, or monthly. When you're paid biweekly, you make 26 half-payments per year instead of 12 full ones, which means extra payments that accelerate your payoff without changing your budget.
Does OwedLess connect to my bank?
No. OwedLess is a planning tool, not a bank aggregator. You enter your balances, rates, and payments manually (or import via CSV). We never ask for your bank login or access your accounts.
Is my data safe?
Your data is protected with bank-level encryption, strict access controls, and row-level isolation so no user can ever see another user’s information. We never share or sell your data. You can export or delete it anytime.
